Black fire pits may need a re-fresh after a few years, which we can do for you at our Brisbane workshop (POA). Alternatively, we can send you a paint – patch kit.

WARNING
- Ember Industries fire pits are for outdoor use only.
- Do not use flammable liquids for lighting or re-igniting your fire.
- Do not use when windy.
- Your fire pit must be on a flat surface when in use.
- Do not leave burning flames or embers unattended.
- We do not recommend using your fire pit on a timber or combustible surface.
- Keep children and animals away from the unit when in use.
- Caution: your fire pit will remain hot for some time after your fire has diminished. Handle with care.
- Keeping your firepit out of the weather when not in use will extend the longevity.
- Excessively large fires or burning rubbish in your fire pit is not recommended.
- Remove cooled ash after use.
- Paint fade is normal. If your fire pit is painted, it may eventually need to be re-coated. Refurbishments are available on all products – POA depending on condition and size.
Our cooking gear if forever renewable, but it does require some knowledge and care to keep it in the best shape possible!
- Raise the heat slowly, sudden intense heat on cold steel can create thermal shock and warp your grill. Lift your grill up to the highest position while you crank the fire, lower at intervals until you’re at the desired temperature.
- Season with plenty of fat. Give your grill a good wipe over with oil after cleaning and burn off.
- Rust is likely to form when the steel is exposed to moisture or oxygen (hello humid climates!) Preventing rust entails thorough seasoning and ensuring your kit stays dry when not in use. If surface rust forms, it is easily rectified with a scrubbing brush or light sanding. Follow this with re-seasoning to prevent the rust returning.
